Do I need to book an appointment?+
Yes. We use an appointment system to minimise the time you spend waiting.
How should I book an appointment?+
Please use the SmartMedix patient portal whenever possible. Call during opening hours. We record missed calls and call back; please do not call repeatedly.
I am ill or need a consultation. Can I come without an appointment?+
Yes, if you have acute symptoms, this is possible. However, because we use an appointment system, you may have to wait. For your own benefit and out of consideration for other patients, please try to arrange a time with the practice in advance. For infection control, we try to keep healthy patients from sharing the waiting room with patients with infectious illnesses. We will give you a time when this can be avoided. If you have symptoms of a respiratory illness, please always wear a respirator when entering the waiting room and consulting room. If your health is seriously at risk, do not wait for an examination; call the emergency medical service on 155.
I cannot reach you by phone. What should I do?+
Check that you are calling during opening hours. We only answer calls during these hours, and we may be attending to patients. We record missed calls during opening hours and call back. Please do not call repeatedly, as this interrupts our work. You can also submit your request after logging into your account.
Can I send you a text message?+
We are sorry, but we do not respond to text messages.
I need a sick leave certificate. What should I do?+
The doctor decides whether to issue a temporary incapacity for work certificate. This may be based on an examination at the practice or a telephone consultation about your symptoms. The certificate is submitted electronically; you remain responsible for informing your employer.
I need to end my sick leave. What should I do?+
Submit a request after logging into your profile. Please specify the date on which you want your sick leave to end. We can also end sick leave during a visit to the practice or after a telephone consultation.
Can I get an e-prescription without visiting the practice? What should I do?+
Log into your profile and use the online prescription request service. Without a consultation, we only prescribe medicines already listed in your medical records. If your request is unclear, we will not issue the prescription and may contact you. We can also issue an e-prescription during a visit to the practice.
How do I request a medical record extract for my employer, and when will I receive it?+
Submit your request through your profile after logging into the website. The processing time is 10 days from the date of the request. We will contact you when the extract is ready.
What should I bring to an occupational health examination?+
Bring a completed request from your employer. If you are not registered with us, you will also need a medical record extract from your registered GP. If you are a foreign national and cannot obtain the extract, you will complete a declaration and health questionnaire at the practice. Please bring a sample of your morning urine.

We currently accept cash only. Payment by QR code is also available at the practice. Please check the amount and prepare the payment in advance. You will receive a receipt.
How often am I entitled to a comprehensive preventive check-up, what does it include, and should I attend?+
Preventive check-ups are covered by health insurance, generally once every 2 years (some insurers allow one month earlier). The content varies with age. This is a comprehensive examination with an updated medical history, cardiovascular prevention including ECG, and age-appropriate cancer screening. Vaccinations are also checked and updated.
